The Faerie Tales are Real and They Hold the Key to Happiness
Updated: Sep 7, 2020

I want to talk about the connection between spiritual mysteries and happiness. While it may seem that poking around in the jungle looking for aluxob has nothing to do with happiness, I can assure you that the two are irrevocably linked.
Almost nine years of living in remote islands, rain forests, jungles and learning from the indigenous people has taught me so much! These simple, beautiful, healthy, and happy people really do know and practice the secret to happiness. And that secret can be summed up in one word.
Connection
You can easily break connection down into four simple categories . . . Connection with yourself Connection to other people Connection to the earth And Connection to spirit
These days we see a lot of people talking about connection to self, which is a good thing. Some are talking about connection to earth, and some are talking about connection to spirit. Not many are talking about connection to other people. In fact, there seems to put a push to disconnect from other people, which is causing us all kinds of grief. There is so much we can learn from the indigenous people about how to connect with others in healthy ways. And this is something we need to do, unquestionably.
But there is something else.
There is the overarching concept that everything IS connected. EVERYTHING. Everything is one thing. One giant living organism with many parts that all function together in harmony. We are part of a whole, but we have lost our consciousness of our connection. We think we are separate.
But we are not. And neither is anything else.
So, let’s go back to the traipsing through the jungle looking for aluxob (plural for alux) part. What does that have to do with all of this and why is it important?
Because it is the demonstration that all is one. It is the evidence. It is highly interesting because it is full of mystery and so we can really, wholeheartedly focus on it. We can get really plugged in and even lay awake at night wondering about it. What is an alux? What does it look like? What is it capable of?
An alux is an elemental being. The Maya tell me this. What I am relating to you is not something I came up with on my own. It is what I have gathered from years of discussions with hundreds of Maya people living all through the Maya territory of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. An alux is air. It is a manifestation of nature itself. An alux is air, coalescing into form and having consciousness, the ability to make decisions, and the ability to act.
The fearie tales are true. The trees are talking to each other in the forest. The water can rise up and take the form of a person and interact with you. The stones in the earth can rumble and make decisions to move of their own accord.
These things have been observed for generations and we are collecting the stories from those who have observed them.
